EWS Admission 2025-26: As per the notification, The department is going to conduct 1st computerized draw of lots for admission under CWSN category in Private Unaided Recognized Schools of Delhi, for the academic session 2025-26, as per schedule given below:

The computerized draw of lots of CWSN (Children with Special Needs) category will be conducted on 19 March 2025 (Wednesday), in continuation of circular no. No.F.DE.15(258)/EWS/PSB/2025- 26/30-38 Dated. 03/01/2025, the number of applications received under the CWSN (Children with Special Needs) category is much less than the seats available. Hence, the online application for the CWSN category will only be filled out w.e.f. 05 March 2025 to 15 March 2025 (Click Here). 

EWS admission result has been released on 05 March 2025, Parents check the result on the official website. 19 February 2025 is the last date of EWS Admission 2025-26, The Online Application Form For Admission under EWS/DG/CWSN/FREESHIP category for session 2025-26, List of schools recognised under DSEAR, 1973 and schools provisionally recognized under RTE ACT, 2009 who will be a part of these online admissions.

• Delhi Education Minister Ashish Sood has assured parents that they can directly report any irregularities in EWS quota admissions to him or visit his office for grievances. The document verification process is underway across 29 zones, with over 6,192 documents verified for students selected through the March 5 lottery draw. Of the 2 lakh applicants, 44,045 children were selected for Nursery, KG, and Class 1 admissions. As of March 10, over 7,000 parents have attended verification centres, leading to 4,878 admissions, while 1,291 parents were issued notices for incomplete documents. The minister has urged parents to stay vigilant against fraud and report any demands for money related to admissions. EWS Admission 2025-26

EWS Admission started for the economically weaker section and children with disabilities at the Pre-School, Nursery, Pre-Primary, KG and Class 1. Candidates can access the admission form on the official website, www.edudel.cin.in, and click on the “EWS/DG Admission” link on the home page to apply. Students must have a total annual income of less than 5 Lakh Rupees from all sources. A residential address is the main criterion for allotment of the seats through computerized draw. EWS Admission Result 2025-26

The Delhi Directorate of Education (DoE) conducted the first lottery draw for EWS (Economically Weaker Section) and DG (Disadvantaged Group) category admissions for the 2025-26 academic session on March 5, 2025. The computerized draw occurred at 2:30 PM in the DoE Conference Hall, Old Secretariat, Delhi – 110054.

The Eligible age limit for EWS Admission in the Pre-School, Nursery, Pre-Primary, KG and Class 1 will be the same as it previous year.
